The JHCA holds all kinds of activities at our Community Center for gatherings, events, parties, and working groups, all for the good of the community.

Community Garden

The community garden is located on the grounds of the Community Center and is open to all residents. Everyone is welcome to plant their heart’s desire by bringing seeds or young plants to add to the garden. Everyone is welcome to enjoy gardening, planting, hoeing, weeding — adults and kids alike! But even if you don’t have time to garden, be sure to come for harvesting because there is always an abundance of veggies, greens, and herbs. Contact: Joyce Paniagua 661-264-7140

4-H

4-H

We are excited to announce that the 4-H Littlerockers club is now meeting at the Juniper Hills community center. As a reminder, 4-H is a youth development organization that empowers young people to reach their full potential through hands-on learning experiences. Our club helps kids develop a variety of skills, including animal husbandry, the arts, gardening, and personal and team development. We are thrilled to be a part of the Juniper Hills community and look forward to helping young people in the area grow and thrive. We meet on the first, second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m and the third Monday at 6pm. For more information or to sign up, please contact our club leaders, Walter & Enjoli Branch  310-365-4854 call or text.  Accepting ages 9-18, please note that a membership fee does apply.
